I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which quest follows Cosimo de’ Medici?

Secrets of Florence asks you to help Cosimo de’ Medici recover his lost baston of glory. This puzzle game runs in your phone’s browser without an app and supports at most four players per team. Along the route you see Arnolfo’s Tower, Loggia dei Lanzi and the Statue of Dante Alighieri. The story gives your friends a common goal while the walk gives you time to talk. Invite everyone to look around and contribute, whether they prefer reading the prompts or considering possible answers. You can use the quest as the opening activity of a bachelor or bachelorette day without needing to devise extra games for the group yourself.

Where does the detective alternative go?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Florence follows a case from Piazza della Signoria past the Uffizi to the cathedral. Your team uses the free Loquiz app on one phone, with at most four players. Pick this walk if a detective theme is more likely to get your friends debating the next move. Share the reading role and make sure the people without the device can follow the discussion too. The case gives the outing a clear focus as you move through the city together. For a party group, the small-team setup can make the challenge more sociable: each person has space to offer an idea instead of simply following the most confident friend.

How much of the day should you allow?

Each Florence game takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team. You can start whenever you want, every day, and use your booking within 12 months. Give the chosen game enough time in your plans to be enjoyed as a complete activity. Arrange teams of at most four friends, each with one phone, and confirm whether you need the browser or the free Loquiz app. That leaves fewer details to sort out when the celebration gets under way. You can build your other arrangements around the walk while allowing this part of the day to be about solving, discussing and spending time together.

What does a team booking cost?

Either Florence game costs €19.95 per team, for at most four players on one phone.

Which option needs Loquiz?

Is this a choice for a hen group?

Yes. You can use the walking game as a friendly start to a stag or hen celebration.

Can we choose when to begin?

Start whenever you want, every day, within the booking’s 12-month validity.
