I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What is the Medici puzzle story?

Secrets of Florence asks your team to help Cosimo de’ Medici recover his lost baston of glory. The game runs in the browser on your own phone without an app. Along the route you see Arnolfo’s Tower, Loggia dei Lanzi and the Statue of Dante Alighieri. The fictional quest gives colleagues a common purpose while exploring together. Share the prompts and hear different suggestions before choosing the next answer. A team of at most four leaves room for quieter observations alongside the quick answers. The story provides the activity without one colleague having to lead the whole walk or create extra challenges for every place you pass.

Where does the detective mystery lead?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Florence takes your team from Piazza della Signoria past the Uffizi to the cathedral. You investigate on foot through the free Loquiz app, with one phone for at most four players. Pick this option if colleagues enjoy discussing a case as the thread connecting their walk. Read prompts together so everyone can follow the story and contribute an idea before deciding. Small teams keep the conversation manageable and give each person a voice without needing the full group to agree at every step. A continuing mystery gives the outing its shared focus while walking leaves room to talk between decisions.

How should you arrange colleagues into teams?

Both Florence games cost €19.95 per team and take 1.5 to 2 hours. You can start whenever you want, every day, within the booking’s 12-month validity. Form teams of at most four with a phone for each team. They can all begin at the same time and compare their scores after playing. Prepare the browser for the Medici quest or the free Loquiz app for the detective mystery before gathering. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. Leave enough space for the full walk in your plans so teammates can enjoy solving together before you continue with other outing arrangements.

Does the Medici quest need an app?

No. Secrets of Florence runs in your phone’s browser.

How many people share a device?

At most four players share one phone per team in either game.

Can all teams start together?

Yes. Teams can begin at the same time and compare scores.

Where should larger groups request pricing?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
