I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where does the exploration walk take you?

Secrets of Stockholm is a self-guided walking tour from Stortorget to the Royal Palace and the old town’s narrow lanes. It uses the free Loquiz app, with at most four players sharing a phone. Along the route you also see the Nobel Prize Museum. Pick this option for friends who want to explore together with a common activity to follow. Take turns reading and hearing suggestions before agreeing on the next answer. The small team gives everyone room to contribute rather than leaving the whole walk to one confident leader. For a bachelor or bachelorette group, that can make the first activity a collaborative part of the day’s celebration.

What does the detective route include?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Stockholm follows a case from Stortorget past Storkyrkan to the Royal Palace. You investigate on foot at your own pace through the free Loquiz app, with one phone for at most four players. Choose the case if your friends would enjoy discussing a mystery as they move through the old town. Read each prompt so the whole team can follow it, then consider different ideas before deciding what to do next. The small-team setting lets quieter friends take part alongside the quick answerers. Friendly rivalry can add energy to the gathering while the detective story gives your walk a continuing shared purpose.

How should you prepare the celebration activity?

Either Stockholm game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. You can start whenever you want, every day, within the booking’s 12-month validity. Choose the game before friends gather, divide the party into teams of at most four and arrange a phone for each team. Both options use the free Loquiz app, so prepare it before setting off. Give the walking activity a full place in your schedule instead of treating it as a brief gap between other plans. With the practical choices settled, your teammates can focus on sharing ideas before the rest of the stag or hen day continues.

How many people play on one phone?

At most four players share one phone per team.

Is an app needed for the tour?

Yes. Secrets of Stockholm uses the free Loquiz app, as does the detective game.

Can a hen group choose the detective case?

Yes. It can be a friendly shared activity for a bachelor or bachelorette gathering.

How long should the group allow?

Both Stockholm games take 1.5 to 2 hours.
