I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which game explores the old town?

Secrets of Stockholm is a self-guided walking tour from Stortorget to the Royal Palace and old town’s narrow lanes. You also see the Nobel Prize Museum along the route. The game uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone. Pick this option when colleagues want to explore with a common activity guiding their attention. Share the prompts and discuss different suggestions before choosing an answer. A team of at most four keeps quieter observations part of the conversation alongside quick answers. The tour supplies the shared focus without one colleague needing to lead every part of the walk or organise extra challenges at each location.

Where does the detective case unfold?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Stockholm takes your team from Stortorget past Storkyrkan to the Royal Palace. You investigate on foot at your own pace through the free Loquiz app, with one phone for at most four players. Choose this theme if colleagues enjoy discussing a mystery as they explore. Read each prompt together so everyone can follow the story and offer an idea before the team decides. Small groups give each person space to contribute without requiring all colleagues to settle every answer. A continuing case provides the common purpose while teammates take turns shaping the discussion and the decisions they make together throughout the activity.

What practical choices come before the outing?

Either Stockholm game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Start whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Form teams of at most four, each with a phone, and prepare the free Loquiz app. All teams can begin together and compare scores after playing. Choose the game before colleagues gather so everyone knows the theme. Larger groups can request a group quote on the website. Give the complete walk enough time in your plans so teammates can enjoy discussing and solving together before moving on to the rest of the day’s arrangements.

Do both games use an app?

What is the maximum team size?
