I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What can an exploration team discover?

Secrets of Tilburg combines puzzles and photo tasks with stories about Heuvel, the city hall and the old wool mills. At most four players share one phone using the free Loquiz app. Your friends guide themselves through the walk, discussing how to approach the tasks together. Choose this exploration activity when varied things to solve sound right for your group. Everyone can bring observations and ideas to the team, making the walk a shared opening to the celebration while you set your own pace.

Where does the detective story take friends?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Tilburg follows a case from Stadhuisplein out to Piushaven. It allows at most four players per team, using one phone with the free Loquiz app. Your friends can discuss the mystery during a self-guided walk, contributing to decisions as the story unfolds. For a bachelor or bachelorette celebration, arrange several teams when the guest list is larger. Give each team its own phone and let everyone offer ideas rather than relying only on whoever handles the screen.

Which outdoor escape game allows five people?

The Tilburg Syndicate (outdoor escape game) takes your team after Magnus and the stolen formulas past Stadhuisplein, Sint-Dionysiuskerk and Lieve Vrouweplein. It uses the free Loquiz app on one phone and allows at most five players per team. You guide yourselves through the streets, following the story at your own pace. Use this different team limit when assigning friends. Keep rivalry relaxed, invite everyone to help with decisions and let the outdoor chase give your party a common challenge to begin the day.

How do we organise timing and bookings?

A Tilburg game takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team. Calculate your team count within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option, with one phone per team. Larger parties need several bookings. You may start on any day whenever you want, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Choose a game before assigning friends so the teams fit. Then prepare the phones, agree a start and leave enough room for the walking activity in your plans.

Can a bachelorette party take part?

Yes. These games suit bachelor or bachelorette groups in small teams with friendly competition.

Which game offers photo tasks?

Secrets of Tilburg combines exploration puzzles and photo tasks during a self-guided city walk.

Do the choices all use an app?

Yes. Each game uses the free Loquiz app on your own team phone.

Is the price for each individual guest?

The price is €19.95 per team within its stated player limit, using one phone.
