Yes, the City Game is completely free for testers. In exchange, we ask you to provide honest and detailed feedback after playing. This helps us improve the game before launching it publicly.

There are no hidden costs, you simply test the game and share your experience!

Almost anyone can apply to become a tester. The only requirement is that you are planning to visit one of the available test cities and are willing to complete the game and provide feedback afterwards.

We review applications to ensure we select testers who are genuinely interested in helping us improve the experience.

In most cases, no app download is required. Our City Games are played directly on your smartphone via a web-based platform.

You will receive clear instructions and access details after your application is approved, so you can start the game easily.

Most City Games take between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete. However, you can play at your own pace, take breaks, explore the city, and enjoy the experience along the way.

We ask for feedback on key parts of the experience, such as:

  • Clarity of instructions
  • Difficulty of the challenges
  • Route and locations
  • Overall enjoyment of the game

After playing, you will receive a short feedback form that takes around 5–10 minutes to complete.

After submitting your application, our team will review your request. If selected, you will receive:

  • Access to the test version of the game
  • Instructions on how to start
  • A deadline for completing the test

We will also send you the feedback form after your game.
