I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can four-player teams explore or investigate?

Secrets of Sydney starts at the Archibald Fountain and leads past St. Mary's Cathedral with puzzles along the way. Colleagues guide themselves, sharing observations and ideas as they follow the exploration activity on their own team phone. It suits a group that wants varied things to solve during its outing.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Sydney follows a detective story from The Rocks to the Royal Botanic Garden. Choose this option when investigating together sounds right for your colleagues. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Arrange a phone for every team and invite everyone to suggest ideas while one person handles the screen.

Which outdoor escape story allows five players?

The Sydney Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas from Lang Park past St Patrick's Church to Circular Quay. It accommodates at most five players per team sharing a phone with the free Loquiz app. You guide yourselves through the streets and follow the outdoor story at your own pace.

The five-player limit gives your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small groups. Everyone can help with decisions around the team phone, making the chase a shared activity rather than one person's puzzle session. Keep the competition friendly and give different approaches room in the discussion. Each team needs its own phone ready before you gather to begin the chosen game.

How do we organise a company group?

A Sydney game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Calculate your team count using the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape choice. Each team uses its own phone, so prepare a device for every small group. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can start at the same time and compare their scores. Select the story before assigning colleagues so the teams fit, then agree a start together. You can begin whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Allow enough room for the walk within your outing's plans while teams follow the activity themselves.

Can our teams start as one group?

Yes. All teams can start at the same time, each using its own phone, and compare scores.

What should a team of five choose?

The Sydney Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team. The other options allow four.

How do we request a company group price?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

Is an app needed for exploration?

Secrets of Sydney uses the free Loquiz app, as do the other two games.
