I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where does the Charleroi detective case lead?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Charleroi takes you from the town hall to the belfry and the Basilica of Saint Christopher. You follow the case on foot using the free Loquiz app, with the surroundings giving your small team a setting for its fictional investigation. The walk creates time outside while the mystery offers a concrete problem to approach together. Hear what different colleagues make of the information before agreeing on your answer. Another explanation can add something to consider, leaving room for everyone’s contribution. This keeps the activity shared throughout the walk, making the investigation something colleagues participate in alongside one another rather than simply following one person’s decisions.

How do colleagues share the task in small groups?
Each team has at most 4 players and uses its own phone; all teams can start at the same time and compare their scores. Decide the combinations before beginning, perhaps mixing people who do not often work in the same small group. The case provides their first common topic immediately. Keep the screen accessible and invite more than one suggestion before choosing a response. Comparing scores gives the wider group something to discuss afterwards, while sharing decisions within each team keeps the game sociable. The phone holder can investigate alongside the others, so the detective thinking remains part of the whole team’s activity during play.
What should the organiser put in the plan?
Plan for 1.5 to 2 hours and €19.95 per team, with larger groups asking for a group quote on the website. Daily availability means you can start whenever you like, and your booking is valid for 12 months. Prepare the free Loquiz app on each team’s phone and settle who plays together before the investigation begins. Choose a starting moment that lets colleagues gather, then give the walk its own space in the outing. That leaves time for exploring and discussing possible answers without rushing. Once everyone is ready, the mystery can be a shared task, with team scores to compare after the game has finished.
What app should colleagues use?
Use the free Loquiz app on your own phone.
What is the maximum team size?
At most 4 players share one phone per team.
Can teams begin together?
Yes. All teams can start at the same time and compare their scores.
How can a larger group arrange the outing?
Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. The price is €19.95 per team.
