I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can exploration or detective teams walk?

Secrets of Marseille starts at Vieux-Port and leads inland with puzzles and photo tasks. The route also passes Statue Henri Tasso and Cathédrale La Major. Colleagues guide themselves on a shared phone, bringing observations to the exploration activity as they discuss how to approach the tasks together.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Marseille follows a case from La Vieille Charité to the old harbour and Fort Saint-Jean. Choose it when your colleagues prefer a detective story to discuss during their walk. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Prepare a phone for every team and invite everyone to offer ideas rather than relying only on the screen holder.

What outdoor escape choice accommodates five colleagues?

The Marseille Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Église Saint-Charles, Vieux-Port de Marseille and L'Ombrière de Norman Foster. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and take the story at their team's pace.

That player limit gives your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small groups. Everyone can help with decisions around the phone, keeping the chase a shared activity. Pick it when an outdoor escape story sounds right for the outing. Keep competition friendly and arrange a device for every team before gathering to begin the chosen walk together.

How do we coordinate the group budget and start?

Each game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. Choose the story first, assign colleagues within its limit and prepare their devices. You can begin whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and allow time for the walk while teams follow the self-guided activity on their own phones.

Can our teams begin together?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each using its own phone.

Secrets of Marseille starts at Vieux-Port and leads inland with puzzles and photo tasks.

Can five colleagues share a detective team?

The detective game allows at most four players per team. The Marseille Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows five.

How can a larger department request a quote?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
