I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can exploration or detective teams walk?

Secrets of Bremen starts on Markt and leads down Böttcherstraße with puzzles and photo tasks. Your colleagues guide themselves on a shared team phone, contributing observations and ideas as they explore. Choose this option when varied tasks sound like the right way for your group to see the city together.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Bremen follows a case from Am Markt past Rathaus and the cathedral to Böttcherstraße. It gives colleagues a detective story to discuss while walking at their own pace. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Arrange a phone for each team and let everyone help decide what to do next.

Which outdoor escape story permits five colleagues?

The Bremen Syndicate (outdoor escape game) takes teams after Magnus and the stolen formulas past Bremer Marktplatz, St.-Martini-Kirche and Schlachte. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and follow the story at their team's pace.

The five-player limit gives your organiser another way to divide the group into small teams. Everyone can bring ideas to the discussion while one person handles the phone. Choose the outdoor chase when your outing needs a common story to work through together. Keep competition friendly and prepare a device for every team before gathering, so colleagues can begin the chosen activity with their phones ready.

How do we organise a larger department outing?

A Bremen game takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team. Calculate your team count within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game. Each team uses its own phone. For a larger group, ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can start at the same time and compare their scores. Choose the story first, assign colleagues to teams that fit and prepare their phones. You may begin whenever you want on any day, and the booking stays valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and allow time for the walk within your outing's plans, while teams follow the self-guided activity themselves.

Can teams compare their results?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each using its own phone.

Which exploration game has photo tasks?

Secrets of Bremen includes puzzles and photo tasks on a walk from Markt down Böttcherstraße.

Can five colleagues share a detective team?

The detective game allows at most four players per team. The Bremen Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows five.

How do we arrange a larger group price?

Ask for a group quote on the website. Every team plays on its own phone within the selected game's player limit.
