I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

How we check reviews

These reviews were left by players on Google and other review sites and are copied from there as they are, with their source.

What does the exploration game offer colleagues?

Secrets of Den Bosch combines puzzles and photo tasks with stories about Markt, St. John's Cathedral and the canals. At most four players share a phone using the free Loquiz app. Your colleagues guide themselves through the walk, contributing observations as they discuss how to approach the activity together. Choose this option when varied exploration tasks suit your outing. Everyone can help with decisions, keeping the challenge shared around the phone rather than leaving all the next steps to the person handling the screen.

Where can our detective team investigate?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Den Bosch follows a case from Markt past De Moriaan to Het Noordbrabants Museum. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most four players per team. Colleagues can discuss the mystery while guiding themselves through the walk at their own pace. Pick it when investigating together sounds like the focus your group wants. Prepare a phone for every team and invite everyone to offer ideas as the detective story gives the outing a shared activity.

What outdoor escape choice fits five players?

The Den Bosch Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas from Markt to Sint-Janskathedraal. The route also passes Oude Dieze. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the story at their team's pace. That limit offers another way to organise your group into small teams. Keep rivalry relaxed and let everyone contribute to decisions, making the outdoor chase a shared challenge and a common focus for colleagues during the outing.

How do we coordinate the start and team budget?

A game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Plan teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game, and arrange one phone per team. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. You may begin whenever you want on any day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Choose a story, assign colleagues and agree a shared start with room for the walk.

Can colleagues start together?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each playing on its own phone.

Which game includes photo tasks?

Do five people fit a detective team?
