I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What is the exploration choice for colleagues?
Secrets of Venlo combines puzzles and photo tasks with stories about Markt, the Maas and the old town. At most four colleagues share one phone using the free Loquiz app. You guide yourselves through the walk, discussing observations and different approaches as you follow the exploration activity. Choose it when varied city tasks are what your group wants from the outing. Give everyone room to offer an idea, keeping the challenge shared around the phone rather than letting one person make every decision.

Where does a detective team investigate?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Venlo follows a case from the station past the Limburgs Museum to Sint-Joriskerk. It allows at most four players per team using one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues can discuss the mystery during a self-guided walk, following the activity at their own pace. Pick it if investigating together sounds like the right common focus. Prepare a phone for every team and invite everyone to contribute, so the story involves the whole group rather than only the screen holder.
Which outdoor chase has room for five?
The Venlo Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Sint-Joriskerk, Stadhuis Venlo and Stadsmuur De Luif Venlo. At most five players share one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and take the story at their team's pace. The larger limit offers another way to divide your group into teams. How do we bring several teams into one outing?

Choose a story, assign colleagues and agree a shared start with enough time for the walk.
Can colleagues compare scores?
Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare their scores, each playing on its own phone.
Which option allows five people?
