Malmö Castle
Built in 1434, Malmö Castle is one of Sweden’s oldest surviving Renaissance castles. In addition, there are multiple museums to go to within the castle such as the aquarium, Malmö’s art museum, the City Museum and the Museum of Natural History. Stortorget Square
Stortorget Square is also one of the best places to visit in the city. It is super near important landmarks such as Apoteket Lejone, the Town Hall, and Sankt Preti Kyrka(St. Peter’s Church). Walk around the square and check out these landmarks and also many restaurants and cafes along the way where you can enjoy nice Swedish dishes.
St. Peter’s Church
Be mesmerized by the beauty of this early 14th-century church nearby Stortoget Square! St. Peter’s Church is one of Malmö oldest buildings. When you are at the church, you will be amazed by its extravagant Gothic-style architecture. In addition, it is totally worth a visit to check out the wooden altars and murals that are in the chapel.
Malmö City Library
Also known as the Calendar of Light, the Malmö City Library overlooks the spectacular view of King’s Park(Kungsparken). To best enjoy the scenery of the library, it is suggested to visit during the night when it illuminates with lights which is why it got the nickname Calendar of Light. Not only it has a specular view, but it also houses many English books and newspapers that you might enjoy. Enjoy a chill day with books and wonderful scenery at City Library.
Lilla Torg
Enjoy the city vibe at Malmo’s open-air bars! With dozens of bars and restaurants, the square of Lilla Torg is known for its vibrant nightlife. Surrounded by cobblestones, and restaurants, it makes it one of the best things to see in the city. Also, it has an indoor market Saluhallen where you can taste food from all around the world.
