Pinakothek der Moderne

The Pinakothek der Moderne is an art museum located in the heart of Munich, and is a part of the so-called “Kunstareal” (art district). This encompasses all the museums of the city: the Alte Pinakothek, the Neue Pinakothek, the Museum Brandhorst, the Antikensammlungen, the Glyptothek, and the Galerie im Lenbachhaus in addition to the Ägyptisches Museum and the University of Film and Television.

Siegestor

It is a triumphal arch in the city of Munich (Bavaria), southern Germany. At the top of the arch, one can see the statue of Bavaria, which is almost similar to the Arch of Constantine in Rome.
The arch had to be rebuilt after it was damaged during World War. The Siegestor is 21 meters high, 24 meters long and 12 meters wide. It was commissioned by King Ludwig I of Bavaria, designed by Friedrich von Gärtner and Eduard Mezger in 1852.
