I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Friends can share what they notice and discuss the tasks together as they walk. Choose this exploration option when your group wants varied things to do during its outing. Which walk offers a detective case?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Munster takes your team past Überwasserkirche, Kiepenkerl-Denkmal and Domplatz. This detective case is self-guided, played on one phone using the free Loquiz app. At most four friends can form a team. It gives a bachelor or bachelorette group a common story to discuss as it walks through the old town. Arrange a separate phone for every team in a larger party. Let friends contribute to the decisions so everyone has a part in the shared challenge.
What is the five-player outdoor escape choice?
The Munster Syndicate (outdoor escape game) begins on Domplatz and follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past St.-Paulus-Dom and St.-Lamberti-Kirche. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most five players per team. The outdoor story gives friends a chase to follow through the streets at their own pace. Consider that team size when grouping your guests. Keep the rivalry relaxed, share ideas around the phone and use the activity as a common opening to the day.
How do we arrange time and cost for the party?
Each Munster game takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team. Calculate how many teams you need, using four players for exploration or detective play and five for the outdoor escape option as the maximums. Each team shares one phone. You can start on any day whenever you want, with a booking valid for 12 months. Choose the game before assigning friends so the teams match its limit. Agree a start together and allow enough room for the walking activity in your plans.
Is a bachelorette celebration suitable?
