I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which street mission includes the museum?

The Munster Syndicate (outdoor escape game) takes you past St.-Paulus-Dom, St.-Lamberti-Kirche and the Borromaeum seminary before the museum. These places give your pursuit different city settings while the story follows Magnus and the stolen formulas. The museum is part of a broader outing rather than a separate exhibition visit included with the activity.

No museum admission or interior visit is specified for the game. If you want additional visiting time, plan it independently alongside the walk. At the stop itself, let the real setting have attention before reading onward. Clear expectations help your companions understand the shared day and where any extra plans belong in the rest of your outing.

How do five people share the outdoor escape activity?

The Munster Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows up to five players on one phone with the free Loquiz app. You play self-guided in the city streets, with a continuing mission giving the walk a common purpose. Choose it when your companions want a pursuit to connect their conversation between real places as they explore together.

Let everyone hear each task before agreeing on an answer. A player without the device may suggest another approach worth explaining. Reading and discussing can change hands during the outing, so the phone holder need not manage every decision alone. This helps all companions remain part of the mission rather than simply following the person operating the game.

What should your group arrange before playing?

Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for the outdoor escape game and prepare the free Loquiz app on your shared phone. It costs €19.95 per team and offers a flexible start every day. Your purchase stays valid for twelve months, so you can find a suitable date with your companions.

Discuss whether the activity will be the main outing or part of a longer city visit. Extra time at individual places belongs alongside the game duration. With that common plan, everyone can arrive ready for the same pursuit, giving the museum and the other real route settings attention between the decisions that carry your mission through the city streets.

Is the museum on the street mission?

Yes, it follows the Borromaeum among the listed stops.

Does the activity include an exhibition ticket?

No museum admission or interior visit is specified.

Can five people share one pursuit?

Yes, up to five players use one phone per team.

Is a fixed departure necessary?

No, you choose a flexible daily start within twelve months of purchase.
