I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can colleagues explore with photo tasks?

Secrets of Aalborg starts at Budolfi Kirke and leads across Gammeltorv with puzzles and photo tasks. At most four players share one phone using the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the exploration activity and can offer observations while discussing how to approach each task together. Choose it when varied things to solve sound right for the outing. Everyone can help with the decisions, keeping the challenge shared around the phone rather than leaving all the activity to the screen holder.

Which detective story can four colleagues follow?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Aalborg takes a case from Toldbod Plads past Aalborghus Castle. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most four players per team. Your colleagues can discuss the mystery while following the self-guided walk at their own pace. Pick this option when investigating together is the focus your group wants. Arrange a phone for every team and invite everyone to suggest ideas as the detective story gives your colleagues a shared walking activity.

What outdoor escape game fits five players?

The Aalborg Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Budolfi Kirke, Jens Bangs Stenhus and Aalborg Rådhus. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and take the story at their team's pace. This limit gives your organiser another way to divide the group into small teams. Keep competition friendly and let everyone contribute to decisions while the outdoor chase gives your outing a common focus.

How do we organise a department booking?

Each game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game, and prepare one phone per team. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. You may begin whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Choose a game, assign colleagues and agree a shared start with room for the walk.
