For team building Paris, give colleagues a detective case to follow together through the centre. Small teams play on their own phones, sharing ideas as they explore on foot. You choose when to begin, and all teams can start at the same time and compare their scores.

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where does your Paris investigation take you?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Paris leads you from Place Georges Pompidou into the streets of the Marais. You follow the case on foot using the free Loquiz app, with Tour Saint-Jacques and Fontaine Stravinsky also among the places you see along the route. The real surroundings provide a setting while the fictional mystery offers a concrete problem for colleagues. Hear different interpretations of the information before choosing your response together. Another explanation can bring a new possibility into the discussion, leaving room for everyone’s contribution. This makes the activity something your small group actively shares as you explore and investigate alongside one another throughout the outing.

How can several work teams share the case?

Each team uses its own phone and has at most 4 players; all teams can start at the same time and compare their scores. Arrange who plays together before beginning, perhaps mixing colleagues who do not often work in the same small circle. The investigation provides an immediate common subject. Keep the screen visible and invite different suggestions before answering together. Comparing scores gives the wider group something to discuss afterwards, while sharing decisions within each team leaves room for everyone during play. The phone holder can investigate alongside the others, making the thinking part of the whole small group’s experience throughout the walk.

What should the organiser allow before starting?

Allow 1.5 to 2 hours at €19.95 per team, with larger groups asking for a group quote on the website. You can play daily, start whenever you like and use the booking within 12 months. Prepare the free Loquiz app on each team’s phone and settle the groups before beginning. Choose a start that lets colleagues gather, then give the walk enough time in your plans for exploring and discussing possible answers. Once everyone is ready, the case supplies a shared task for the outing. Compare scores afterwards and return to the different ideas your teams considered while working through the mystery together during play.

Which app should colleagues use?

Use the free Loquiz app on your own phone.

How large can one team be?

At most 4 players share one phone per team.

Can all teams begin together?

Yes. All teams can start at the same time and compare their scores.

How do larger groups arrange the activity?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. The price is €19.95 per team.
