I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What does the exploration walk include?
Secrets of Brielle is a self-guided walking tour with puzzles and photo tasks through the old town’s streets, squares and ramparts. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone. Choose this tour if colleagues want to explore with different ways to join the activity. Take turns reading prompts and hear suggestions before choosing the next answer. Photo tasks give teammates another focus alongside solving puzzles. A team of at most four leaves room for each person to contribute rather than leave the activity entirely with one confident player. The tour provides the common challenge without anyone needing to prepare extra tasks for every part of the walk.

Where does the detective trail begin?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Brielle starts at the Arsenaal and follows a trail out to the ramparts. Along the walking route you see Sint-Catharijnekerk and Historisch Museum Den Briel. Your team investigates through the free Loquiz app, with one phone for at most four players. Pick this theme if colleagues enjoy discussing a mystery as the thread connecting their outing. Read prompts together and consider different suggestions before agreeing on the next answer. The small team gives quieter ideas space alongside quick answers without requiring the full group to settle every move. A continuing case supplies the focus while colleagues take turns shaping the discussion and decisions.
How do you organise the teams beforehand?
Both Brielle games cost €19.95 per team and take 1.5 to 2 hours. You can start whenever you want, every day, within the booking’s 12-month validity. Arrange teams of at most four, each with its own phone, and prepare the free Loquiz app. All teams can begin at the same time and compare scores after playing. Choose the game before colleagues gather so everyone knows the theme. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. Leave enough space for the complete walk in your schedule so teams can enjoy discussing and solving together before you continue with the outing’s other arrangements.
