I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which Amsterdam activities can you choose?

A Christmas Carol in Amsterdam, Ghost Hunters in Amsterdam and photography tour of Amsterdam give your party different city-game themes. The Christmas title has a browser version with no app needed and a separate version using the free Loquiz app. Ghost Hunters in Amsterdam uses the free Loquiz app and has a Saving Rembrandt theme. Choose the particular activity and phone setup before gathering the group, so everyone knows which experience you are sharing. A story can give the walk a common focus without requiring a guide to organise each moment. Keep the atmosphere friendly by inviting suggestions and making space for the quieter members of each team.

What does the photography option show you?

photography tour of Amsterdam names Dam Square Amsterdam, Torensluis, Herengracht and Leliesluis among its route stops. These places give a walking activity a concrete city setting for a stag or hen group that enjoys noticing its surroundings. Follow the tour for actual directions rather than building an independent itinerary from the names alone. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone. Share what the task asks before everyone starts suggesting an approach, and let different people contribute to the next decision. That makes the photography walk a joint activity, rather than one person managing the screen while the rest simply follows through Amsterdam.

How do you plan a shared start for the party?

Each Amsterdam game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours, with at most 4 players sharing one phone. For a larger bachelor or bachelorette party, divide the group into teams and choose a suitable moment to begin your activity together. Each team needs to follow the setup for its chosen game, so agree on the version rather than assuming all titles use the same access. You can start whenever you want, every day, and your game is valid for 12 months. Give the walking activity its own place in your celebration, then make any independent plans for the rest of the day separately.
