I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

How does the puzzle walk include the bridge?

Secrets of Ghent takes you past Graslei to the bridge and then De Post and St. Nicholas’ Church. The activity combines a city walk with puzzles and photo tasks, giving companions different ways to contribute. The bridge becomes a stop in that sequence rather than the only place your group plans to see.

Allow a moment to look around while keeping the way clear for others. The game can give your walk direction without occupying every moment of attention. Once your group is ready, return to the phone together and continue the tasks, keeping the real city present alongside the activity you have chosen to share.

Which outdoor escape mission also passes here?

The Ghent Syndicate (outdoor escape game) starts at Korenmarkt and passes the bridge, Korenlei and Design Museum Gent. You follow Magnus and the stolen formulas through the streets, with those places giving the pursuit its settings. Choose it if your companions prefer a continuing mission to a mix of puzzle and photo tasks.

This activity allows up to five players on one phone, while the puzzle walk permits four. Both use the free Loquiz app. Invite each companion to suggest an approach before choosing an answer. Reading and explaining can change hands during the walk, helping the mission remain a common activity rather than something only the device holder follows.

What practical arrangements do the two games share?

Both games take 1.5 to 2 hours and cost €19.95 per team. Both can be started whenever you like each day and remain valid for twelve months after purchase. Compare their team limits and activity styles, then choose a suitable date with the people you want to bring along.

Prepare the free Loquiz app on your shared phone before beginning. Discuss whether the game is the main activity or part of a longer city day, and leave extra time at individual places alongside the game duration. A shared plan helps everyone arrive ready for the same outing, enjoying the tasks while noticing the bridge and the other real settings together.

Do both routes pass the bridge?

Yes, it is listed on both the puzzle walk and the outdoor escape route.

Which game allows five players?

The Syndicate outdoor escape game permits five per team.

How many phones does a team use?

One shared phone with the free Loquiz app.

Can we choose when to begin?

Yes, both offer flexible daily starts within twelve months of purchase.
