I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

How does the puzzle walk reach the square?

Secrets of Leipzig takes you past City-Hochhaus Leipzig, St. Nicholas Church and the University of Leipzig before the square. These places give the exploration different settings while puzzles and photo tasks provide something for your companions to share. The square becomes part of a broader walk rather than the only destination for the day.

Up to four players share one phone with the free Loquiz app. Let everyone hear each task before agreeing on an answer, and invite different people to explain their ideas. Reading can change hands as you go. This helps the activity remain common to the whole group rather than leaving the device holder to manage the entire walk alone.

Which street mission begins from the square?

The Leipzig Syndicate (outdoor escape game) starts at the Markt and passes Thomaskirche, Neumarkt and Neues Rathaus. You follow Magnus and the stolen formulas through the city streets, with a continuing pursuit giving your group a common purpose. Choose it when your companions prefer a mission to a mix of puzzle and photo tasks on another route.

This activity permits up to five players on one phone and uses the free Loquiz app. Make room to notice the real places between instructions. Different companions may see different things, and a brief exchange keeps the city present in the outing alongside the fictional pursuit. You can then return to the mission and continue together.

What practical arrangements should your group compare?

Both games take 1.5 to 2 hours and cost €19.95 per team. Both offer flexible daily starts and remain valid for twelve months after purchase. Compare their team limits and activity styles, then choose a suitable date with your companions and prepare the free Loquiz app on the phone you will share.

Discuss whether the game is the main activity or part of a longer city day. Extra time at individual places belongs alongside the game duration. With a clear common plan, everyone can arrive ready for the selected walk, giving the square and the other real settings attention between the decisions that carry your tasks or mission forward.

Is the square part of both routes?

Yes, both described activities include it.

Which option permits five players?

The Syndicate outdoor escape mission allows five per team.

How many phones does a team use?

One shared phone with the free Loquiz app.

Can we choose when to begin?

Both activities offer flexible daily starts within twelve months of purchase.
