I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What can four colleagues explore or investigate?
Secrets of Leipzig brings puzzles and photo tasks to a walk past City-Hochhaus Leipzig, St. Nicholas Church and the University of Leipzig. Colleagues guide themselves on a shared phone, offering observations as they approach the exploration activity together. It suits a group that wants varied tasks alongside its city walk.
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Leipzig follows a case from Markt past the Oper and Gewandhaus. Choose the detective option when your colleagues want a mystery to discuss during the outing. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Arrange a phone for every team and let everyone offer ideas, rather than leaving decisions only to the screen holder.

Which outdoor escape choice allows five colleagues?
The Leipzig Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Markt, Thomaskirche and Neumarkt. It allows at most five players per team using one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and follow the story at their own pace, discussing what to do next together.
The player limit gives your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small teams. Everyone can help with decisions around the phone, keeping the outdoor chase a shared activity. Choose it when that story sounds like the right common focus for your outing. Keep competition friendly and make room for different ideas as each team follows its chosen game with its own phone.
How do we organise the shared beginning and price?
A Leipzig game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Calculate the team count within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
Teams can start at the same time and compare scores. Select your story before assigning colleagues so the teams fit its size, then prepare the phones. You may begin whenever you want on any day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and allow time for the walk in your outing's plans while teams follow the self-guided activity on their own devices.
