I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

How does the puzzle walk reach the square?
Secrets of Leipzig brings you through the city with puzzles and photo tasks. On the route you see City-Hochhaus Leipzig, St. Nicholas Church and the University of Leipzig before reaching the market square. That sequence lets your team experience different places while keeping a common activity running through the walk.
It suits groups that enjoy changing how they participate. Some moments call for discussing a puzzle; others invite you to work together on a photograph. Give everyone a chance to suggest something, including the people who are not holding the phone. The game is self-guided, so your own team carries the conversation.

What happens in the outdoor escape game?
The Leipzig Syndicate (outdoor escape game) sends your team after Magnus and the stolen formulas. From the square, the route takes you past Thomaskirche and Neumarkt to Neues Rathaus. The mission gives you a reason to keep moving through the streets while discussing the decisions in front of you.
Up to five people can play together on one phone. This is an outdoor escape game in the city streets, with a play time of 1.5 to 2 hours. It uses the free Loquiz app and costs €19.95 per team. Choose it when your companions prefer a continuing pursuit to a mix of puzzle and photo tasks.
How do you choose and prepare your team?
Choose the puzzle walk for up to four players or the outdoor escape mission for up to five. Both take 1.5 to 2 hours, use the free Loquiz app and cost €19.95 per team. Each team shares one phone, so you can organise a group without making the activity depend on everyone using a separate device.
You can start whenever you like, every day, and your purchase is valid for twelve months. Arrange a day together, have the app ready and decide which style of challenge you want. Once you reach the square, take a moment to gather before beginning your selected game.
Can we play as a pair?
Yes. The team limits are maximum numbers, so two people can share a phone.
Is the square part of both routes?
Yes, it appears among the listed stops of both games.
Do the games have a fixed departure?
No, both offer flexible daily starts.
How long is the purchase valid?
You have twelve months to choose your playing date.
