I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

How does the puzzle walk include the church?

Secrets of Leipzig takes you past City-Hochhaus Leipzig, the church, the University of Leipzig and the market square. This sequence gives your walk a series of city settings while puzzles and photo tasks provide a common activity. At the church, pause considerately before returning to the screen and continuing.

The mixture of tasks gives players different ways to join in. A companion who likes discussing a solution can contribute alongside someone who enjoys the photographic part of the activity. Keep the phone available to the group rather than leaving every decision to its holder. The route is self-guided, and the conversation can belong to everyone.

Which outdoor escape game also passes this sight?

The Leipzig Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas from the Markt past the church to Augustusplatz. Choose it if your group wants a continuing mission through the streets instead of a mix of puzzle and photo tasks. The story gives your onward walk a shared purpose.

This outdoor escape activity allows up to five people on one phone per team, whereas the puzzle walk allows up to four. Both use the free Loquiz app. Agree on your group size before choosing between them, then decide which kind of activity your companions would most enjoy discussing as they explore the city together.

How much time should you put aside?

Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for either game and add any separate visiting time you want. Each costs €19.95 per team and can be started whenever you like, every day. The purchase is valid for twelve months, so you can choose the date with your group rather than needing a fixed departure.

Have the free Loquiz app ready on the phone you will share. Before beginning, talk about whether the game is the main outing or part of a longer day. That small decision helps everyone understand the plan, leaving room for both your chosen challenge and the places you want to notice along the way.

Do both games pass the church?

Yes. It appears on the puzzle route and in the outdoor escape walk description.

Which option allows a team of five?

The Syndicate outdoor escape game allows up to five players.

Is church admission part of the game?

No church admission or interior visit is specified.

Do we need an app?

Yes, both games use the free Loquiz app on one shared phone.
