I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which stories suit teams of up to four?
Secrets of Frankfurt follows clues as you help Rahel Hirsch rediscover why she returned to her hometown. You pass Kunstverein, a historic square with coloured houses and Historisches Museum Frankfurt. It runs in the browser on your own phone, with no app needed, for at most four players per team.
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Frankfurt follows a case from Paulsplatz across Römerberg to the old town lanes. It also allows four players sharing a phone, but uses the free Loquiz app. Choose the story your colleagues want to discuss, then assign teams and prepare their devices. Everyone can contribute observations and ideas while each team guides itself through the walking activity.

What outdoor escape activity accommodates five?
The Frankfurt Syndicate (outdoor escape game) takes teams after Magnus and the stolen formulas past Paulsplatz, Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus and Mainkai. It uses the free Loquiz app on one phone and allows at most five players per team. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets, following the story at their own pace.
That team size gives your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small groups. Everyone can offer ideas while one person handles the screen, keeping decisions shared around the phone. Pick the outdoor chase when it sounds like the right common activity for your outing. Keep competition friendly and prepare a device for every team before gathering to begin the story together.
How do we organise a larger company group?
Each Frankfurt game takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. Choose the game before assigning colleagues so the teams fit its limit, then check the phone setup. You can begin whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and allow room for the walk in your outing's plans while each team follows the self-guided activity on its own device.
Can our teams begin at once?
Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each playing on its own phone.
Which option needs no app?
Secrets of Frankfurt runs in the browser on your own phone, with no app needed.
What should a team of five choose?
The Frankfurt Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team.
Where can a larger group request its price?
Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
