I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which city game passes the DAF Museum?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Eindhoven includes the DAF Museum before Sint-Catharinakerk and Next Nature Museum. The detective adventure begins on Markt and gives your team a case to follow during the walk. You can notice the museum as you explore, while treating any visit inside as a separate plan. The game is self-guided on your own phone, with your group deciding how to respond to the investigation. Read each prompt together and compare what you think it means. That makes the case a shared activity, with real city locations contributing to the outing without becoming invented pieces of museum history or an interior tour.

How do the discovery and mission options compare?
Secrets of Eindhoven offers an exploration game with puzzles, including 18 Septemberplein, The Blob and Philips Museum along its route. Choose this option for a discovery walk with tasks to solve together. The Eindhoven Syndicate (outdoor escape game) pursues Magnus and stolen formulas, passing Markt, Sint-Catharinakerk, Stadhuis Eindhoven and Van Abbemuseum in that order. That mission plays out in the streets. Decide whether the group would prefer discovery, detective work or the pursuit of Magnus before choosing. Each gives you a different story or activity to share, while keeping the city walk central to your time together in Eindhoven during the game.
How much does it cost to play together?
The price is €19.95 per team for each adventure. Secrets and Sherlock Holmes allow up to four players using one phone, while the Syndicate allows up to five. All three use the free Loquiz app and take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Daily flexible starts and 12 months of validity let you pick a suitable time for your group. Set aside the walk as an activity of its own, with any separate museum visit planned independently. During the game, make the screen or the prompts available to everyone. Sharing what you are solving keeps each player involved in the decisions and the developing adventure.

How many players can one team have?
