I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which city mission can we play without an app?
Secrets of Brussels joins Agent X.O. on a mission to recover a legendary waffle-patterned outfit. The walk passes the Palace of Karel van Lotharingen, the Queen Elisabeth statue and Brussels Parliament. It runs in the browser on your own phone, with no app needed, for at most four players per team.
Choose this story if your friends want a city mission to discuss as they explore. Everyone can bring observations and ideas to the activity, even though one person handles the screen. Decide together how to approach the next step and follow the walk at your own pace. For a larger party, arrange several teams and a separate phone for each one, keeping the challenge shared within the small groups.

Where does the murder mystery lead our team?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Brussels follows a case from Grand Place past Manneken Pis to Mont des Arts. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most four players per team. Your friends guide themselves through the walk, discussing the detective story at their own pace.
Pick this option when investigating together sounds like the common focus your bachelor or bachelorette group wants. Arrange which friends will share each team phone and invite everyone to offer ideas during the activity. Keep the rivalry relaxed as the case gives the celebration a shared beginning. You follow the game without a guide leading the group, leaving each team to discuss and make its own next decisions throughout the walk.
How do we arrange cost, devices and the start?
Each Brussels game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. At most four players share one team phone, so count the teams your guests need before booking. Larger parties require several team bookings and devices within that limit.
You can begin whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Choose the mission or detective story first, then assign friends and check the phone setup. The mission runs in a browser, while the detective game uses an app. Agree a start together and leave enough room for the walking activity in your day's plans. The self-guided format lets your group organise its own beginning and follow the chosen story together.
