I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What does the exploration game offer colleagues?

Secrets of Nijmegen combines puzzles and photo tasks with stories about Grote Markt, De Waagh and Sint Stevenskerk. At most four players share a phone using the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the activity, discussing observations and approaches as they walk. Choose it when varied exploration tasks suit your outing. Everyone can help with decisions, keeping the challenge shared around the team phone rather than leaving all the next steps only to the person handling the screen while the group follows the game.

Where can our detective team investigate?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Nijmegen follows a case from Grote Markt to Valkhof. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most four players per team. Colleagues can discuss the mystery while guiding themselves through the walk at their own pace. Pick this story when investigating together sounds like the focus your group wants. Arrange a phone for every team and invite everyone to offer ideas, making the detective activity a shared challenge rather than one person's decisions on a screen.

What outdoor escape game fits five players?

The Nijmegen Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas from Grote Markt and Stevenskerk down to Museum De Bastei. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the story at their team's pace. This limit gives your organiser another way to divide the group into small teams. Keep competition friendly and let everyone contribute to decisions, making the outdoor chase shared around the phone and a common focus for colleagues during the outing.

How do we organise the team budget and start?

Each game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option, with one phone per team. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. You can begin whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Choose a game, assign colleagues and agree a shared start with time for the walk.

Can teams begin together?

Which choice includes photo tasks?

Can five people share a detective team?
