I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can explorers or detectives follow a story?

Secrets of Enschede starts on Oude Markt and leads past Grote Kerk with puzzles and photo tasks. Colleagues guide themselves on a shared phone, offering observations and ideas as they approach the exploration activity together. Choose it when varied city tasks sound like the right focus for the outing.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Enschede follows a case from Oude Markt and Grote Kerk outwards through the city. It gives colleagues a detective story to discuss during their self-guided walk. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Prepare a phone for every team and encourage everyone to help make decisions rather than relying only on the screen holder.

Which outdoor escape game fits five players?

The Enschede Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Klokkenplas, Oude Markt and Concordia. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Your colleagues guide themselves through the streets and take the outdoor story at their team's pace.

This different limit offers your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small groups. Everyone can suggest ideas while one person handles the screen, keeping the chase shared around the phone. Choose it when that story fits the outing. Keep rivalry relaxed and give different approaches room in the discussion while every team follows its self-guided activity on its own device.

How do we organise team costs and the start?

A game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can begin at the same time and compare scores. Choose a story first, assign colleagues within its limit and prepare their phones. You may start whenever you want on any day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Agree a shared beginning and allow room for the walk while teams follow the self-guided activity on their own devices.

Can teams compare scores?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare their scores, each playing on its own phone.

Which exploration route begins on Oude Markt?

Secrets of Enschede starts on Oude Markt and leads past Grote Kerk with puzzles and photo tasks.

Do all games require an app?

Yes. Each game uses the free Loquiz app on your own team phone.

How can we request a larger department price?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
