I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which puzzle walk begins from the square?
Secrets of Enschede starts on the square and takes you past Grote Kerk, St. Jacobuskerk and De Kleine Willem. The walk combines exploration with puzzles and photo tasks, giving companions different ways to contribute. The starting place becomes the beginning of a wider outing rather than the only destination your group has planned.
Up to four players share one phone with the free Loquiz app. Before beginning, make sure everyone can hear the task and offer an idea. You can let different people read or explain during the walk, keeping the activity shared rather than leaving the device holder to handle every decision for the group.

What is the outdoor escape option from here?
The Enschede Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas from the square past Klokkenplas towards Van Heekplein. The mission gives your walk a continuing story as you explore on foot. Choose it if your companions prefer a pursuit to a mix of puzzle and photo tasks.
Up to five players use one phone with the free Loquiz app. Let everyone suggest an approach before agreeing on the next answer. The real places provide your mission’s settings, so take a moment to look around between decisions. This keeps the outing connected with the city while the game supplies something for your whole team to discuss.
How can you plan the shared outing?
Both games take 1.5 to 2 hours and cost €19.95 per team. Both offer flexible daily starts and remain valid for twelve months after purchase. Compare the team limits and activity styles, then find a suitable date with the people you want to bring along.
Prepare the free Loquiz app on your shared phone before meeting on the square. Talk about whether the game will be the main activity or part of a longer day. Any extra time at individual places belongs alongside the game duration. With a clear common plan, everyone can arrive ready to enjoy the selected activity and the real settings that make up your walk.
Do both activities begin on the square?
Yes, both described walks start from Oude Markt.
Which game allows five people?
The Syndicate outdoor escape game permits five players per team.
What phone setup do we need?

Can we choose our start ourselves?
Yes, both offer flexible daily starts within twelve months of purchase.
