I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which route will colleagues explore in Montfoort?

Secrets of Montfoort takes you past De Sint-Janskerk, Het Oude Stadhuis and the castle on a self-guided walk with puzzles and photo tasks. You play using the free Loquiz app on your own phone. The surroundings give colleagues a setting to notice while the tasks offer something to solve and do together. Hear different suggestions before choosing your response as a team, and share the photo tasks as part of the activity too. Each person can add an idea, keeping the game part of a group conversation. This makes the walk something your small team actively shares rather than simply following the decisions of whoever is holding the phone throughout play.

How can several work teams share the game?

Use one phone for each team of at most 4 players; all teams can start at the same time and compare their scores. Decide who plays together before beginning, perhaps mixing colleagues who do not often work in the same small circle. The puzzles provide an immediate common topic. Keep the screen accessible and invite different suggestions before deciding what to do together. Comparing scores gives the wider group something to discuss after the game, while shared decisions within each team keep the activity sociable. The phone holder can participate alongside the others, so approaching the puzzles and photo tasks remains part of the whole small group’s experience throughout the walk.

What should the organiser reserve before starting?

Reserve 1.5 to 2 hours and budget €19.95 per team; larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. The game is available daily, you can start whenever you like and your booking is valid for 12 months. Prepare the free Loquiz app on each team’s phone and settle the groups before beginning. Choose a start that lets colleagues gather, then give the walk its own space in your plans. That leaves time for exploring, puzzles and photo tasks without rushing the team discussion. Once everyone is ready, the game supplies a shared activity, with scores to compare after the teams finish playing together during the outing.

Which app should colleagues prepare?

Prepare the free Loquiz app on the team phones.

How many share one team?

Can teams begin together?

Yes. All teams can start at the same time and compare their scores.

How do larger groups arrange the outing?
