Team building Berlin: walk and solve

City games in Berlin (3) ↓

For team building Berlin, choose a city game that gets colleagues discussing ideas as they walk. Exploration puzzles and photo tasks, a detective case and an outdoor escape story offer different shared challenges. Each small team uses its own phone. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, giving the outing a common focus while different people contribute to decisions within their team.

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which games can teams of four follow?

Secrets of Berlin brings puzzles and photo tasks to a walk past Martin-Gropius-Bau and the Topography of Terror. You guide yourselves using the browser on your own phone, with no app needed. The maximum team size is four players. Keep your group's presence respectful at historical places while following the activity.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Berlin takes a detective case from the TV Tower past Nikolaiviertel to Berlin Cathedral. It also allows four players sharing a phone but uses the free Loquiz app. Choose this story when colleagues prefer a mystery to discuss together. Arrange a phone for each team and let everyone contribute ideas throughout the self-guided walking activity.

What outdoor escape story permits five colleagues?

The Berlin Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Alexanderplatz, Marienkirche and Block der Frauen. At most five players share one phone using the free Loquiz app. Your colleagues guide themselves through the streets, following the outdoor story at their team's pace as they discuss the next decision.

The five-player limit offers another way to divide a department into small groups. Everyone can help with the story while one person handles the screen. Choose it when your outing needs a shared outdoor escape challenge. Keep competition friendly and make room for different approaches. Each team needs its own phone ready before you gather to begin the chosen activity together.

How can a larger department organise the outing?

A Berlin game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option, and prepare one phone per team. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can start at the same time and compare their scores. Select your game first, arrange colleagues into teams that fit and check its phone setup. You can begin whenever you want on any day, and the booking remains valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and allow time for the walk in your plans while each team follows the self-guided activity on its own device.

Can all our teams begin at once?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time, each using its own phone, and compare scores.

Which choice runs without an app?

Secrets of Berlin runs in the browser on your own phone, with no app needed.

How can five colleagues play together?

The Berlin Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team on one phone.

Where can we request a larger group price?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
